Support
It helps to include your phone model, its iOS or Android version and the Revisely version (Settings, at the bottom of the list), and a screenshot if you have one.
-
Moving to a new phone
Install Revisely and sign in with the same Apple, Google or email account. Your memorized pages, plan and history are synced to your account. Sign in with Apple is available on iPhone only.
-
Not getting the daily reminder
Check that reminders are on in Revisely’s Settings, under Notifications, and that notifications are allowed for Revisely in the phone’s Settings app (on Android, also check that the Reminders channel is on under Revisely’s notifications).
-
Fell behind on your plan
If you didn’t finish yesterday’s pages, Home offers to add them to today. To start today somewhere else (a juz, a surah or a page), tap today’s pages on Home and choose “Jump to”.
-
Deleting your account
In the app: open Settings and choose Delete account, at the bottom of the list. The account and its data are deleted straight away.
Without the app (for example if it’s no longer installed): email support@revisely.app from the email address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my Revisely account”. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, write from any address and include the address Apple shows for Revisely, so we can find the account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it’s done.
What’s deleted: your account and sign-in, your memorized pages, plan, revision and reading sessions, daily log, settings, saved location, and every backed-up recording. Any remaining copies are gone within 30 days.
What’s kept: crash reports, which carry only an internal account ID, are deleted after 90 days. Emails you sent to support are kept for 2 years. Donation records, which aren’t linked to your account, are kept for 7 years as financial records. Anything stored only on your phone, such as recordings that weren’t backed up, stays there until you delete the app. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy, Data retention, has the details.
-
Deleting some of your data
You can delete parts of your data and keep your account.
In the app:
- A revision session: on Home or in Activity, its ⋯ → Delete session.
- A timed reading session: Activity → the day → its ⋯ → Delete session. The recordings made during it go too.
- A day’s log: Activity → the day → Daily log → the bin.
- One recording: Activity → the day → the recording’s ⋯ → Delete recording. It’s deleted from your phone and from your backup.
- All recordings: Settings → Activity → Recordings → Delete all. They’re deleted from your phone and from your backup.
- The recording backup only: Settings → Activity → turn off Back up recordings → Turn off and delete backups. Your recordings stay on your phone.
- A saved plan: Home → ⋯ → Edit schedule → the plan → Delete plan.
- Memorized pages: Home → ⋯ → Memorized pages, and unmark the pages you want taken out.
By email: for anything else, such as all of your memorized pages and their ratings, your revision history, or the location saved for fajr times, email support@revisely.app from the email address your account uses (or include Apple’s hidden address if you used one). Say what you’d like deleted. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it’s done. Turning off Start day at fajr stops using your location, but it stays on your account until you ask us to delete it.
What’s deleted and what’s kept: what you delete is removed from your account straight away. A deleted recording’s audio goes from our storage, and any remaining copies within 30 days. A small note that it was deleted, with no audio, stays, so your other phones don’t upload it again. Crash reports, which carry only an internal account ID, are deleted after 90 days whatever you delete. Emails with support are kept for 2 years. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy, Data retention, has the details. To delete everything, see Deleting your account.

iPhone and Android
Revisely works on iPhone and Android, with one account on both: sign in with Google or email on either phone. The iPhone app is on the App Store.
